Health and Kinesiology

Welcome to the Department of Health and Kinesiology!

With five Undergraduate programs and a Master’s program with specialization in Health and Kinesiology, our Department offers many opportunities for professional training and career advancement in Health and Kinesiology. In addition to a history of excellence in teaching and service, we are also striving to become a research intensive department. We have established five laboratories for our faculty and students to conduct research and teaching activities in exercise science, disease prevention and pedagogy. Many of our faculty are conducting exciting, cutting-edge, and externally funded research to address the challenges and issues influencing human health and development.
